OLEKSIY GULENKO Massage Therapy

Oleksiy is passionate about health.

Originally his way in medicine has started in Ukraine where he had worked as an orthopedic doctor. He treated people with musculo-skeletal issues as well as the emergency trauma patients.

In Canada, Oleksiy started working as a Registered Massage Therapist in 2012, after the graduation with Honors from  Ontario College of Health and Technology. Since then, Oleksiy has been constantly updating his skills for more versatile and effective treatments. He wants to give the best possible results to his clients.

​

Oleksiy acquired a certificate of Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. He also became a NSCA certified personal trainer. After that, Oleksiy was certified in Cupping under ConEd Insitute and certified in TMJ treatment by John W. Corry (TMJ Mastery course for manual therapists). Also his great interest in Eastern medicine leads him to Japan, where Oleksiy learned Seitai therapy and Japanese Acupuncture.

Apart from treating the patients, Oleksiy has been active as an educator. He is one of the instructors of McMaster Medical Acupuncture Course since 2016.

Some people come to Oleksiy when the conventional medicines such as surgeries and medications and their therapists can not help. He is always up to such challenging cases.
