It was an eye-opening experience. Such a method of acupuncture!! The practitioner was Mr. Matsuyama. Originally I met him at a session of waterfall training; standing under a waterfall to purify the mind. It was a few years ago. This time, I met him at his clinic in Osaka.
He doesn't insert the needles into your skin at all. He uses 3 sticks as thick as the knitting needles. He stimulates the meridians with them through his fingers. I don't know how it works, however, the patient's backache has gone just after one session of his.
He read the pulse of patient so many times. For example, when he attached a tiny metal piece on the foot of her, he checked her pulse. And then, he moved that piece 5mm or so, and again, he checked her pulse. This process was repeated a few times in order to determine the exact point for her symptons.
